SOLO 6 is a valuable tool to support teachers in implementing the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in the classroom. Our newest classroom-based project seeks to promote implementation of UDL and Personalized Learning at the whole school level.
Updated Clicker 6 Creating Excitement!
Clicker 5 has been a long standing and popular reading and writing tool used by many SET-BC students. Clicker 6 has just been released and has many new and exciting features that students will enjoy and teams will find easy to use.
Bella Coola First Nations K-12 Literacy Program
SET-BC is proud to partner with the Central Coast School District, the UBC Crane Library, and ARC-BC to provide alternate format materials for their First Nations K-12 Literacy Program.

CanAssist to the Rescue: An Adapted Toy Story
Recently, SET-BC required custom adaptations to switch activated toys. CanAssist once again fulfilled our request and they quickly made these adaptations in their usual high quality and timely manner.

SET-BC Welcomes New Consultants!
This September, several new consultants have joined the SET-BC provincial and regional teams. As a result of retirements and staff members returning to district positions, five teachers and one speech language pathologist began their new roles as SET-BC consultants this school year.

Timmy Technology Travels
Timmy Technology, SET-BC's cuddly ambassador, has traveled to the SET-BC website! Timmy was created to give SET-BC students a way to showcase their schools and communities by introducing him to the important people and places in their lives.
Student Technology Projects 2010 - 2011
Last year SET-BC conducted a number of small student-based technology projects supported through vendor donations. Project teams have reported on the positive results of using a variety of technologies with students.
SET-BC Develops Accessible Books for the iPad
Over the summer, in addition to expanding our usual Powerpoint-based Accessible Books collection, SET-BC has also been building a new area of the collection – Accessible Books for the iPad.
